WHY CHOOSE THE CRIBWORKS? 

I ask myself this question often. I mean there are a bunch of really cool studios in and around Austin so why would people come to my little place to record or choose to send files for me to mix? Hmmmm??

Well, knowing that this site is about introducing people to The Cribworks, I decided to make a list of things that I felt were cool about 'The Crib!'

  • Removed from the hustle and bustle. Nestled in the middle of ten acres, six miles from the nearest small town. Yet only 30 minutes from The Live Music capital of the World.
Once I was done with this list I realized that most of these things were not unique to my studio. So, if that was the case, then WHY???

I am a player first. I KNOW what it feels like to walk away from a project knowing that it was the very best that I could give. So, having said that, there is a phrase that I HATE! That being "OK, that's good enough!" In my years doing this, I was taught, over and over, that you work until it's the best it can be. This is my way. It's not about the gear, the room, the money. It's about capturing the very best I can get from whatever  project I am involved with...recording or mixing. My goal is to work hard until YOU are absolutely satisfied. No exceptions!

I have been blessed in my life of music. My goal is to now share my knowledge and support, in every way possible, with all those that do what I do. You will always get my very best..no exceptions!

Plus. I love to cook, tell funny stories, and make a great cup of coffee!
